Terms and Conditions
- All packages and rooms are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and payable in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
- All packages and rooms are NETT, non-commissionable, and inclusive of a 10% service charge. However, should there be a change in the taxes levied, the new tax will be applied accordingly.
- Rates for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) and ad hoc arrangements are available upon request.
- No additional hotel or room charge for children under 12 years of age, sharing a room with their parents using existing bedding.
- The rate provided in the F.I.T Net Rate Agreement is for the sole purpose of sale by the agent via a traditional wholesale distribution system and not through the internet. Locally negotiated net wholesale rates are provided by Langsura Geopark Sdn. Bhd. hereunder for the contractual term, subject to the condition that such nett rates must be distributed either as a “Packaged Rate” or as a “Marked-up Rate”.
- To qualify as a “packaged Rate”, the rate must be sold as a part of packaged travel product that includes sufficient additional (non-hotel) components such that the cost of the total package is at least 20% more than the hotel nett rate. In no event shall “Packaged Rate” be sold as a hotel-only product.
- To qualify as a “Marked-up Rate”, the rate must be sold at a mark-up to the net rate such that the marked-up rate is not less than the rates for the applicable inventory that are then publicly available to the consumer via the Langsura Geopark Sdn. Bhd. branded website. For the avoidance of doubt, a mark-up of at least 20% over the nett rate will be deemed to satisfy the preceding requirement. With respect to both “Packaged “Rates” and “Marked-up Rates”, the agent shall not advertise that it has the “lowest prices available” for all hotel room inventory.
Check In / Check Out
- Official check-in time for hotel/resort is 15:00 hours and check out time is 12:00 hours. FIT’s or group (GIT) requiring a late check-out is up to 18:00 hour, a charge of 50% of room charge per night is applicable subject to availability. Check out after 18:00 hours, a full night’s rate will be applied. Both of these facilities are subject to availability based on the arrival patterns at the hotel/resorts on the day.
Reservation Procudure
FIT reservations may be made directly with our Sales & Marketing team. In order to obtain your contract rates, please identify your company and advise the personnel that you wish to make a reservation on your contract rate.
Cancellation / No Show Charges
- Cancellation period without penalty:
- 14 days prior to arrival (normal and peak period)
- 45 days prior to arrival (Super peak period)
- For cancellations received after the allowed cancellation period, the cancellation fees equivalent to full duration of the stay the below cancellation fees will be imposed.
- For reservations where a NO SHOW occurs, the full charges for the room category and package reserved will be applicable for the ENTIRE STAY.
Billings & Payments
- All the rates contained in the website and Contract are in Ringgit Malaysia.
- Subject to the credit term, all reservations will be on full prepayment basis. Settlement may be made in cash, bankers’ draft, cashier’s cheque or credit cards. All guests’ incidental charges will be billed into the guests’ accounts unless otherwise advised and shall be payable upon check-out.
- In the event that Agent has credit terms with LANGSURA GEOPARK Sdn Bhd, billing will be on a monthly basis through an electornic invoice for reservations for the following month. Full payment must be made within 10 days from the date of the billing either in bankers’ draft or company cheque.
- All payment for reservations must be received in full prior to guest check-in.
